Since the closing of his former Tanta restaurant, Peruvian Chef Gastón Acurio continues his Barcelona adventure curating de culinary offer at Hotel Mandarin Oriental's Banker's Bar which besides cocktails it now offers a select variety of nikkei specialities such as uramakis, niguiris, tiraditos, ceviches or even shumai. The extensive list of cocktails ranges from the classics to original creations of its own such as the Japanese inspired Doh Je Maguey which combines mezcal, shichimi syrup, yuzu, ginger beer and radish.
With a ceiling fashioned from original security boxes hinting to the building’s former use as a bank, the fabulous Banker’s Bar is both a vibrant nightspot and stunning piece of design. It is atmospherically lit with a choice of indoor and outdoor seating.
